Opera city break in Sofia

Day 1. Welcome to Bulgaria!
Arrival at Sofia Airport.
Transfer to the hotel, located in the center of the city, right next to the main cultural and historical places of interest. Depending on the flight schedule leisure or shopping time.
Opera, ballet or concert in accordance to the seasonal program in the evening.
Overnight at the hotel in Sofia.

Day 2. Impressions of Sofia
Breakfast at the hotel.
Our guide will meet the guests for the sightseeing tour at their hotel. The sightseeing tour of Sofia includes the magnificent “Alexander Nevski” cathedral, one of the symbols of our capital, and other places of interest in the city center, such as the remains from the ancient Serdika fortress, one of the oldest towns in Europe, the buildings of the Parliament, the National Theater “Ivan Vazov”, “St. Kliment Ohridski” University, the rotunda “St. George”, “St. Sofia” church, dated back to the 6th century, and more.

Day 3. A day in Sofia
Breakfast at the hotel.
Leisure day. Our guests could enjoy a shopping day in downtown. Sofia has a lot to offer – from the big fashion stores to the cozy shops, hidden in the city center’s narrow streets. Furthermore it is a must to taste the Bulgarian cuisine and, of course, the wines in some of the numerous restaurants and taverns in downtown. Another option is a one-day trip to the splendid Rila Monastery or to Plovdiv, one of Europe’s oldest cities.
There are lots of things to do and places to visit depending on guest’s interests and preferences.

Day 4. Farewell!
Breakfast at the hotel.
Depending on the flight schedule leisure or shopping time. Transfer to Sofia Airport according to the flight schedule.
